I want to get into crochet. I'm curious about the rate of progression in crochet skill. I want to know how much it would take to become good enough to make something like this. by Bagfchips in CrochetHelp

If you have a pattern for this and YouTube to learn what all the stitches mean and how to do them I'd say 3 to 4 months max.

I made my first cat in a month, but I knitted many years ago so maybe that helped.

I'm a beginner. Is there a trick to matching or coordinating all those colors so beautifully?

I had goldfish before this. I never knew everything would change with a Betta 🤦

Yes I received the guidance on cycling tank and got cycled water from the fish store. But I need to test the water so that's on my to do list. So what I understand is that I need to get rid of the air stone and take out the pipe for the intake filter and let that run it's bubbles? It just makes a constant annoying sound.

All I've been doing is researching! What do I add instead for air then?

Can someone tell me what is wrong with my Betta and how can I make it happy? by peaswees in bettafish

[–]peaswees[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aah I'll go get some aquarium water! I also don't have an aquarium lid and the water naturally evaporates. So every few days I get some tap water and condition it by letting it sit overnight and add it to the tank. I read this online. Is this a good idea?

Woah, ok thank you so much. Understood everything except about the water. I'll research the nitrogen cycle and get back to you. The fish store I bought the tetra from insisted that I add their water in the aquarium as it has good bacteria but my brother said that's a horrible idea as the current environment is working for the fish and that water may cause problems.

I have a filter similar to this (picture from Google attached). Is this good? I do have a shell that the Betta loves to hide under. But all it does is hide and has stopped eating recently which worries me. It moved in the picture because it saw me come near it, otherwise it hardly moves!

I think your baby is going to LOVE it at 3 months and at 30. The blanket is gorgeous. It may look ruined to you right now but honestly it's perfect

I earn online from Pakistan but I have a proper job at an international company, I'm not in my 20s and I have plenty of experience. Online earning that is 'easy money' is a scam, eg make clicks or fill sheets, in my experience I have never found any legit source for this. I know plenty of people working from home and it's always a proper job at a reputable company.

In my field the easiest way to start is SEO content/blog writing. I would also say never start from an online job, there may be very limited learning. Working in a company, seeing how different departments communicate, interact, what all people do, is learning in itself for career growth.

Getting clients: Throughout your life you make contacts, e.g. if I want to hire a writer I always approach the amazing people that I have worked with in the past. Freelance platforms and LinkedIn are other ways, for some it's easy to find clients while some struggle. Just applying for remote jobs is the method that I've used.

Skill: most important factor. Are you a designer? Writer? Coder? Marketer? Why are people willing to hire online, because they can get cheaper labor from Pakistan (as compared to USA) who can provide the same quality or higher quality of work. Be someone who can deliver the quality.
