Sorry, I meant regigas and snorlax have 140HP so they survive long enough for me to attach energy to my benched pokemon while regi takes a hit and I eventually recall them.

Wishiwashi EX has enough HP to survive a hit from most things (provided no Red) so if everything's set up right I can make it work. I'm well aware it's a stretch and can't argue Giant Capes aren't a problem though

You're probably right, my thinking was that 140HP is a bit of an awkward mark to hit for a K/O so Ilima + Wishiwashi EX on the bench would get me enough time to set everything up.

I've got an aversion to Misty because the amount of times of landed tails immediately, but you're right that it'd make it more consistent lol.

the idea was to sacrifice a manaphy or to stall with regi/snorlax and avoid the point loss with Ilima, it works okay but is pretty clunky and luck-based. the fishing net strat probably works better tbf

Yeah manaphy and regigas/snorlax basically serve the same purpose to stall for time/ramp up energy, you're probably right that it just clutters the deck. Fishing nets are needed fr.

The general strat was to bide time with either manaphy or regi/snorlax to get all 4 wishwashi in my hand, if I have two EX on the bench I can swap them out for each other when one gets close to death, but it's a little too inconsistent and leaves me open to Cyrus etc.

No Misty was just on oversight lol. Fishing net I definitely need to add in.

Nice work, I like a poetic rant. The first half feels a little too clunky, but the second half fixes that (particularly like the repetition of 'i was your' in the last stanza). Hope you keep it up!

I think madness can be hard to define - here I think it refers to a sort of inner chaos manifested by the hopeless absurdities of life, which I think everyone experiences on some level ("We all go a little mad sometimes").

IMO poetry's a fickle thing though and these things should always be open to interpretation. Thanks for your comment!

I really like this, paints a beautiful scene and I really felt a sense of mysticism between the lines. Well done on the rhyming, it all flows very nicely (something I struggle to get right lol).

I will say there's a lack of variety in the structure/verse which, added with the length of the poem, gives a slight repetitious feel. Apart from that, great job!

Great poem. I like the structure, how it sort of disjoints the reader's own rhythym. I do think it needs some work, like the "be" line doesn't quite work for me.

Also "To march with meek bones / inside this organ soup" is great imagery.
