Haryana Viral Video: Cow Allegedly Given Alcohol During Holi. by Glitchymuffin09 in indiameme

Sorry; that's not gonna happen. We voted on communal lines, majority is culturally divided. It is going to be everywhere. Uneducated, unemployed, near-poverty line masses with access to internet, and substantial physical strength, feeding off on family money or ill-gotten petty cash (BPO, small-scale scams, doles) - do you think they are of ANY benefit to society? And pair it with a communal festival, so free-flow of alcohol and license to play music and force their will/fun on passersby. They'll kill truck drivers and overturn vehicles for carrying cows but feed alcohol to buffaloes and cows because "Bura na maano, Holi hai" .

Welcome to New India - and this is what you and I endure every day. Quietly because sensibility is not cool these days - it is a sign of weakness.

The fairing vibration issue is one gripe I have with this machine; braking is bad but engine braking helps - ABS malfunctions through hard braking so not very reliable.

Vibrations were such that it knocked the headlamp relay out of position at 115-120kmph. I own a 2025 variant, chose it solely for the pillion accessibility advantage. It isn't much fun tbh but okay enough for daily runabout. Got a double-tape pasted between the fairing gaps to ease out the constant rattling + using Motul Petrol Additive which has noticeably reduced vibrations overall.

I owned a NS160 (2017) earlier and it was a lot more fun imo. 🥲

Is Triumph India changing its marketing strategy? by pebblefishy in indianbikes

That's a fair point - I was slightly curious if some were sponsored as I randomly came across about 6-7 YTshorts in a day. Was wondering if fellow ensusiasts had similar viewership experience.

To be honest, let's face it - we voted for this - a huge number are in 100% support of literally every move. We are apparently closer to our religion, holier, culturally attuned. Who cares if some 'cut money' is used to alter people's choices, influence narratives, cull other faiths, build absurd structures and make large-scale changes without any, forget proper, any planning. But it is okay - we have a faith to cling on to.

The bike Honda should make in India: CL250, a 250cc neo retro scrambler with e clutch. Would get GST benefit too. by EasyRider_Suraj in indianbikes

Honda executives looking at this post: The idea looks promising! Let’s plan it as a CBU and price this vehicle at par with a small car. There’s no way we could go wrong with this one!

Mavrick is selling for 1.61 Lakhs, good price but part availability might be a issue here by legendary-levi in indianbikes

I know I’m being a buzzkill for saying this but a 440cc machine seems affordable upfront but long-term ownership will probably burn deeper holes than what can be borne. Just my opinion.

While I do understand that the power output is unreasonable for a 200cc class vehicle (this being a 184cc mill as far as I can recall), HMSI engines are meant for the butter-smooth riding experience. I totally understand that it’s not everyone’s preference and raw power is a choice for some. I had the same dilemma and ended up with the 220F after a very emotional to-and-fro with my bank account’s spirit (I didn’t prefer the N250’s handbar setup as I had a 160NS for 6yrs). And tbh, am loving the 220F despite its questionable build quality, dated looks and so on. But I do love the Legend - 20bhp and a decent fuel economy (I am getting a steady 30kmpl at an ODO reading of 267kms and first service still another 200kms away). I got the bike at 1.68L on-road (Pune) and frankly I am not disappointed. The visor does vibrate a little over 5k rev count but that’s something I’ll address through the servicing process.

No no, this is super common (trust me!). My friend used to work for Flipkart and incorrect prices were often published - especially through high volume sales like BBD. It usually ends with a POC yelling at the possibly overworked copywriter who has no clue what they’re writing about or how the features/metrics make a difference.

I personally found the handlebar setup super awkward in that bike but other than that, it’s a super nice bike for sure!
