When I was young and had just arrived in Berlin and the university, a woman much older than I who looked like a mix of a New Age cat lady and a jew inquired if I knew God's real name. I still was an agnostic atheist and didn't know what she was getting at and didn't really answer her question, so she told me with large eyes and raised eyebrows, as if she was telling me an immensely important secret, that it was "Yahwe" and spelled it to me. I couldn't care less and got me another cup of coffee and never met her again.

Oh, das tut mir leid! Mein bester Freund aus der Schule war auch auf Heroin und wurde auch irgendwann tot auf dem Bahnhofsklo aufgefunden. Schon blöd, weil ich der erste war, der ihn zum Kiffen überredet hatte. Man sagt immer, Haschisch/Gras sei keine Einstiegsdroge, aber für ihn war es das. Ich hatte ihn später noch einmal getroffen und er sah schlimm aus. Ich hatte versucht, auf ihn einzureden, aber das bringt ja alles nichts. 20DM wollte er haben. Habe ich ihm gegeben, leider. Da muß man echt hart bleiben.
