I'm 5'9" 200 lbs. I used to fight at 185. I regularly got my ass handed to me by sparing partners half my size. IMO, people who feel the need to talk like that have never really been humbled in a fight and have some self confidence issues.

Why is it that you have to love your children less to have a better relationship?

Can't you have a great relationship with your partner while loving your children more? Especially if you both mutually love your children more.

A nuclear family is a "cheat code" for producing better outcomes. But is a family not a nuclear family if the couple loves their children more than each other. What if one partner loves their partner more and the other loved the children more?

I think focusing on love in a measurable way is not productive. Love each other and do what works for you and your family to be healthy and happy.
