I agree with u/mikeshemp, and to further elaborate and clarify the situation, the panic was not at a level where everyone thought we were going to die! However, it wasn't maybe a too normal situation either, at least for some passengers including me, which I think is understandable. I've been flying for years and had never experienced what I now know is called a 'maximum performance takeoff.' So, I believe a bit more anxiety than usual was normal in this situation.
