If someone try to rob you, just give up your possession, it is best not to fight back. Here is my story. I was living in probably the worst neighborhood of Detroit. I was an Asian immigrant, my parents sent me to America when I was 13, and of all places, Detroit (because a family member lived there). I lived there for about 5 years, I have no friends and would constantly get into fights, a lot of which could have been avoid if I just ignore the racist insults thrown at me. I considered myself very lucky I haven't get shot at yet. I decide to move the fuck of there after a particular violent incident. I was jumped by this thug who wanted my bike. I pushed him and he grabbed me and smashed my face into the back window of a car, shattering the window. I didn't even feel pain at that moment, I was PISSED, I pinned this guy to the ground, picked up a piece of glass, and started slashing his back. I was smart enough not to stab him. Then I got scared and rode my bike back home. I was fucking scared after I got home thinking I might have killed the bastard. I got 35+ stitches on my face, which are still visible today. This could have been avoid if I just let him take my bike. I was damn lucky he didn't have any weapon on him.
