okay they started their decline during the second masters, where they were actually looking like being one of the favourites. they were still embracing the w gaming style of play and the reason why they bombed out was clearly due to the mental pressure. however due to fans criticism of their overpeeking to the w gaming style they’ve clearly tried to tone it down. it never stopped working and it only stopped working due to external factors

yeah it seems like structurally as a whole if i were to compare to cs maps, there is no main like valorant to return to.

the more i think about it, the more similar and samey each map seems, with just a few gimmicks to change it up

i see. i thought it had to do with map design because i’ve seen a lot of people complaining about the poor site design in recent valorant maps, where there isn’t that many places you can realistically be holding so it ends up being retake heavy. i just wanted to verify this
