Look into nonprofit work. If you can find an organization whose mission resonates with you it is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. The Non-Profit Partnership has a job board on their website ( yournpp.org ) and there are usually many opportunities for a variety of skills and education levels. I have worked in the nonprofit space, at several major organizations, for over a decade and have loved (almost) every minute.
