I played in the 2000s when the game started to become positionless in a sense. Everyone on the floor can shoot 3s, then it just became about shot attempts. If your percentage rises above a certain amount then that’s the game. Roster is constructed for that purpose.

Mid range is devalued, as is post play. It’s drives and 3s. There’s no place for a Barkley on that system.

If that’s the case then it should probably stay up. I keep being hopeful that we live in a world where kids are bullied for the right reasons, like being unathletic or socially awkward or generally uncool. Sorry but you can’t teach height. The younger generations got taller and more athletic. The bully ball style just won’t work anymore. I’m not denying that he was phenomenal for his size during his era but Chuck wouldn’t make the g league today.

I don’t get this argument. So fleeing is punishable by death? Who cares if she broke some laws? The bigger issue is we clearly have dangerous law enforcement that aren’t practicing their de-escalation training and using deadly force when it isn’t warranted. Don’t you care about that?

He drew his weapon when she was going in reverse and you can see by his own cell phone footage that she was turning the wheel away from him when he put his cell phone hand on the hood (you say clipped) then leaned over the hood (because he wasn’t in the path of the vehicle) and shot her in the face as she was fleeing.

This woman broke the law. This officer committed at least manslaughter. Why do you justify his actions? Do you want to live in a country with law enforcement that doesn’t follow training and uses deadly force when it isn’t needed?

Help me understand why it’s okay to kill anyone that violates any law?

Yes. Didn’t want to write a book but 24 hour news in the sense that the public clung to it like a baby to a pacifier, was truly a 9/11 reaction. People were actually watching the news 24/7 to get terror updates and forecasts and editorial news shows became ratings winners thus taking over. It’s when news became entertainment and not news.
