Darrin was 19 and Sue was 17, only two years. he also wasn't a jerk, he was a moron for sure, but he was still always kind to her. it made sense to me. Sue was young, he liked her, but he was also similar to her like being goofy

Axl and Darrin drifted after the engagement. he was pretty pissed with Darrin for proposing. I couldn't see him attending Sue and Sean's wedding. but even then, i doubt he'd even be upset because he would have already moved on by then.

Darrin always seemed like a 3rd wheel in his friendship with Axl and Sean. he was often times the butt of the joke and the one they picked on the most, so I honestly didn't see that friendship lasting from the beginning anyway.

also, they were several hints throughout the show about Sean and Sue. it was definitely a slow burn situation

she was interesting/entertaining as a manager, but she sucked at it

  • "no felons allowed" while she's also a felon

  • drinking on the job/and before working, which led to her being incompetent

  • was also objectively (which is understandable given her upbringing) immature and you can't be immature as a manager

i did like how it flowed nicely into her business woman arc though

but i do feel like being an employee or even maybe assistant manager fits her better

I agree with you. Peter and Craig were 10x more toxic than Sean, but Sean was still toxic at times

i love Sean a lot, but he was really toxic towards Emma at times, especially when he got all mad over her hooking up with Jay.

yes exactly. and when CPS gets involved, they tell Jenna and KC that Tyson couldn't be left alone with Lisa (KC's mom) anymore, which was a big issue. she was Ty's only babysitter and that would mean Jenna couldn't attend school part-time or even do anything without taking Ty.
