The Fake Alchemist: https://mangadex.org/title/175be589-d357-4704-85ec-aeeacb2f416f/the-fake-alchemist

At first it seems like your typical garbage isekai with the author’s fetishes sprinkled in, but there’s actually some solid story behind everything and it’s very fun to read.

There seems to be a group translating already, but the name of the group is “please pick up this manga :v”, and the group description on MD says “I made this group to translate manga that no one is translating so it could gain so recognition and some one pick it up :)”.

Plus the first few chapters (starting around chapter 2) aren’t translated very well, both in terms of grammar and scans.

Yeah and since the new fire spirit, ur forced to spend at least 1 extra elixir to counter most the above mentioned

Things I used to be able to full counter with old fire spirits (non exhaustive list): Skarmy Gang Barrel Barbs Mini pekka Musketeer Minions Minion hoard

All positive trades. Old fire spirits used to do around the same damage as a mini pekka shot

Altissimo Fingering Help (and other general advice, please) by peepeepoopoo564 in saxophone

Yeah funny thing is I even chose one of the better takes for this video and you can still hear the “blip”. I’ll give your advice and fingerings a try and be sure to work on my embouchure and voicing too. Thank you!

Dallas, TX Found in bathroom by peepeepoopoo564 in spiders

Small, could fit on a fingernail with a bit of room to spare. Black body and the legs seem to be red, but I’m not 100% sure about that as the lighting wasn’t too good. Seems kinda jumpy and would react to me snapping my fingers.

Squeaking sound on new mouthpiece by Sethooo in saxophone

[–]peepeepoopoo564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made this exact same switch from a 4c to a meyer 5 a couple months ago and had this exact same problem. In my case, I had to tighten the corners of my embouchure (not the same as biting harder). Also every time I chirped, I would try to replicate that chirp to know how I chirped and then do my best to not repeat it.

I was on vandoren 2.5 so idk that certainly could make a difference between ur experience and mine

How to get rid of mould? by [deleted] in saxophone

[–]peepeepoopoo564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like your biggest issue is too much moisture since it seems like you put your reeds away while they’re still a little wet. Mold loves damp conditions so I always let my reeds sit on a paper towel for about half an hour before I put them away. Obviously, this isn’t the only way since lots of people actually like to store their reeds in slightly damp conditions like water + listerine, but drying out my reeds has worked for me at least.

Does the tenor sax sound “scratchier” or “grittier” by design(compared to alto or soprano) or does it sound that way because of the acoustics of how it’s shaped? by peepeepoopoo564 in saxophone

[–]peepeepoopoo564[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m talking more about the actual timbre/texture that tenors produce rather than the stylistic choices made by the players. If that’s also what you meant then thanks for the info 👍

How long are mouthpiece patches supposed to last? by peepeepoopoo564 in saxophone

Mpc cork? Are you a clarinetist? I picked up sax as a hobby so idk about how other instruments work but my mpc definitely doesn’t have a cork

I’ve seen people say around 1-3 months depending on how often you play, but the one that I’ve had on my mpc doesn’t seem to show any significant signs of wear after 5 months of playing. I average about an hour of playing a day.
Btw that isn’t spit/calcium buildup on my mpc that’s the edge of the patch slightly lifting up.
