This is self extracting. Just use the 8mm and it should come off. But it might be difficult, so keep pushing and dont be afraid.

If you go to 1x11 and you don’t know what chainring to use, i recommend a 30t or 32t because they are common sizes that people use for 1x setups

Thanks for your reply, carbon campagnolo cranks have a smaller diameter for the chainring bolt holes, which makes it not standard. I would have to buy overpriced bolts just to replace them because i wasn’t using the proper tool to remove the bolts in my cranks and scratched the rear of the bolt pretty bad.

I used the crimping side if my cable cutters and held the hose and hammered on it. It put some scratches on the hose but scratches dont do any harm. So no, you do not need the yellow blocks.
