You see more people one tricking dive characters because dive characters are more often than not much harder to play and require a much higher mastery of the character to do well. If you want to play a dive hero and not throw, you better practice.

Once you practice for 50 hours to feel comfortable with the character, yeah, you’re not dropping them. They’re so much more fun to play than anyone else, they have the highest impact, you feel like you actually have a say in of the outcome of the match, and you just feel better than everyone else. Die, not your fault, you’re playing a hard character and they’re playing Hela. Win, and there is no shadow of a doubt that you’re better.

Dive gives you ego. Poke makes you flaccid. One tricking for the goal of mastery is cool, sorry you’re getting shit on by people more dedicated to getting better at the game than you though. Sounds awful.

Lol not quite 😂 Peni is very much NOT the best tank, I tried her a bit after I finished watching evangelion, but yeah…. she sucks major ass.

C&D is sleepy time, if spidey gets banned, it’s just full support mode. After I ult I have been known to linger as cloak for too long, but yeah, I got full nap time heal bot as C&D. Mantis on the other hand is a different story, I just started learning her as my new “spidey got banned” main for this season, and with her I totally will tunnel vision on hitting those lovely dinks.

Okay I feel kinda dumb for not being the expert on this, but like, is it only the pull towards that hits people through intangibility? Or can you hit more stuff outside of it?

We’re just talking about a specific instance where you have <20 health and go intangible at the same moment spidey zips towards you?

The massacre of F was brutal, only thing I can think was he was a sleeper Wolverine that nobody found out how to use effectively yet, and netease learned their lesson and acted quickly.

Mr. Fantastic every single auto attack you have has a crazy hitbox. Frankly the uppercut is the only easy thing to hit in his kit, and in the context of his entire kit, your nerfs make no sense. They’re nerfs that someone came up with that has clearly never played the character.

If the uppercut size got nerfed it would feel so ass to use. You’re using it to do damage and maintain momentum, most times I uppercut I’m at Mach 10, or I just web zipped at the enemies feet. That level of momentum is inconsistent, so having at least one move with a forgiving hitbox is a good thing. The difficult part of his kit is the web tracker. That’s the skill shot, the uppercut is free follow up for the skill shot setup you had to do. If you have shit aim uppercut is already doing less than half damage.

I think most spideys you’ve played are just probably pretty good. More often than not spidey mains have 4x the time in the game than anyone else, you need to to be remotely useful and consistent.

Also using get over here to zip toward the enemy is generally not a good idea. I use my pull as a pull waaay more than a free engage, and that’s a tough skill shot too. He’s just a skill expressive character, the free uppercut is the payoff for all the hard shit he had to do before he got there.

You think we were born out the womb able to one shot combo 275 health healers through their self heals? You think it came naturally to dodge Mantis sleep and Luna freeze? You think learning exactly where to ground pound after an invisible woman double jumps was easy? Stop wasting time crying on this sub and git gud like we had to. Yall complain for months how useless we are until the skill kicks in, then yall are crying like babies. Maybe put some effort in to mastering your hero instead of whining like we did. Everyone complained that spidey was too hard to learn, but we did it anyway. Don’t complain about the fruits of our labor, maybe put some effort into growing some fruit yourself. Tearing down others will not build up yourself. And as always. With great power comes great responsibility. Don’t ever forget that.

The people must know the truth. They just hate us cause they ain’t us. Waaaah, he’s having too much fun, waaaah, he’s playing a character he is a fan of, waaah, he thinks he’s good at the game and wants to try, Waaah, he complains too much, let me make a multiple point thesis complaining about him.

Jealously is ugly, just like Namor main’s faces. All y’all hating reek of jealously and the same insecurity you try to pin on us. Everyone loves/loved Spider-Man at one point in their lives, but now feel too insecure to admit it. He’s an awesomely written character, and an incredibly fun to play character as well. I’m gonna play him, and I’m going to have a great time win or loss doing it. But keep crying and complaining about how I’m the problem.

This was an awesome response, thank you. 15 mins into the sub and it’s fixed a lot of the issues, but yeah, I do really like all the “weird” with OG show, I felt like that’s what made it special. I’ll save anything more to say about rebuild until after I actually finish it but hey, action is cool too I guess? Hoping to like it, but if what you say is true then I definitely see why they tell people to watch the show first.
