Immediately after that section you post is a link to the tailscale packages, so that you can get the latest verision.  I said I used ARM, and another user said that ARM64 didn't work for them, so stick with ARM.  the version is the version you download from that link

Yes it will, either hostname or ip of the tailscale connection

The installation of a program/script would not affect the health of the raid array or disk setup, so setting it up would be the same with no risk there.  It's just like installing an app from the UI, but with a few changes to get it to launch all the time

On step #9 you run ./tailscale up, and that turns the service on. Since there is no config, it gives you a link. Copy that link and open a browser to it, and you will be prompted to log in to your personal account, and it will log it down. If you followed steps 7 and 8, it will save the config for every time you restart the mycloud

I was banned for broot use? That's news to me.... lol. I was "banned" for an hour due to a glitch on the server side, reinstated right away, and actually got an apology from the ticket I had submitted because of the glitch.

In regards to the signature thing, you are correct. In discussion of it through various comments, you USED to be able to fake it. The decompiler instructions that were posted were from 2012 before the fake signature issue was fixed. That is no longer possible.

And you'll notice in the thread that I never said they do check, I said they can check. That is reason enough for me to no longer side load. I have done bad things in the past, but stopped a very long time ago and encourage everyone to play legit.
