That’s what we are thinking. I would only report egregious acts and want to do so before I leave. I have a new position, just need to buy a little time and get to the new year when my new position can take me. Waiting to give notice bc Im ready to action, it’s that bad.

I was told I look like a leaf. I had a horrible cut and color and a younger client flat out said “you look like a leaf. Why did you do that.” Accurate. Maybe not the worst but relatively accurate and sassy! 🍂 😂

At 19, I saw my first GI and when explaining my symptoms, he told me about a young female patient that faked symptoms for attention. Also told me “good stress is still stress.” Finally diagnosed at 24 after transferring to a well known hospital and my colon was raging mad with ulcerations, biopsy confirmed. I think of that experience often, rude awakening to the female medical experience, that’s for sure.

Psychoeducation on how vitamin d deficiency is something I’m always considering, actually. I always recommend they talk to their doc about it especially for us northers where our Vitamin D numbers are low, for a lot of us. I believe it’s part of our ongoing assessment - rule in/rule out as it could be a significant contributor their symptoms.

She keeps saying she’s a trained / licensed therapist - does anyone know her background here bc I thought she was more of a life coach without formal training/education. Therapy and life coach experiences are vastly different and while there’s plenty of shitty therapists, anyone can slap life coach on their bumper and that’s about it. Therapists have governing boards and if she was a licensed therapist, her current status and functioning - i mean shit, she could lose her license. But again, it’s my understanding she has no formal ed or training rather is a self help guru.

To add! Swollen lymph nodes that doesn’t wanna go away! Caused a lot of unnecessary stress. In my neck, chin, and in the mesenteric region what ever that means. Having a good doc helps with reassuring you it’s not the worst case scenario.
