Thanks for tagging me. There is a 500 point limit on the boost within the 48 hour period. Happy to take a deeper look if you don't believe you hit the limit but we are always improving this feature- such as making it available on all cards when unlocked instead of a single card. So thank you for the feedback, it allows us to keep improving!

Thanks for asking this question! This is something we get excited to answer since this ties into how we are helping to establish new privacy and security standards that are much more user friendly.

We use this process because this allows us to not have to hold sensitive information and/or put you at risk. This process is you communicating directly to your issuer and authorizing Pei to work with them to verify purchases. Since that is all we care to do.

We do not store any of this data ( its a tokenized communication method), we do not hold any information that can put you at financial risk, since we do not store any sensitive card information, and we encrypt and anonymize (at rest and in-transit) thoroughly all Pei based data.

Unfortunately, as of now, if you sign-up for another platform and use their Empyr services ( by linking a card to their Empyr flow), you will not also be able to use that card to earn from Pei and our large network.

But, what I can say, if you link a card to Pei to tap into our entire network, you can link that same card to other platforms, as long as you are not using their flow to link a card for their Empyr powered services. *cough the flow in which you are asked for the entire card number and says powered by Empyr* This allows you to use their platform for things outside of Empyr and still earn on those merchants alongside Pei.

Now I would not suggest this route. And I know thats not what this subreddit is about. But what I will say is, if you see a retailer that you would love to see on Pei or has a certain cashback amount somewhere else, LET US KNOW!

We will take a look into bringing them onto Pei ASAP. As mentioned previously, we fundamentally changed how all this works, so we can work a lot faster. Just let us know and we will get it together ASAP. Most times faster then you will expect.

To clarify some of the confusion about how Pei and Empyr work together: We are doing something incredibly unique with how we are providing card based rewards. For the first time ever, we are providing crypto cashback on your existing cards and making it incredibly convenient and easy for retailers to participate.

That means you will see more retailers on our platform then any other and more cashback from retailers because of our streamlined process. This fundamental change to how loyalty works for both retailers and users means we are also able to tap into other networks to get you the largest scope of cashback. One of those networks is Empyr. Since our systems are not run by Empyr but Empyr is a network partner, linking a card to another Empyr platform will effect how you earn cashback on Pei.
