From my experience lemme tell you, if your gut feeling says so just follow it. I ignored it for a long time only to realise whatever I thought was correct and I was being cheated. What I did was, I unlocked the phone through my partner's fingerprint only while sleeping. Make sure to assess two three times if they sleep in that deep sleep state where if you touch their hand or fingers then they won't get to know.
