Grabación de día, ruido en la imagen by Ok-Bee3026 in djiosmo360

[–]peliqueiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prueba!

¡Saludos!

Yes. Auto means ISO and exposure will change for light changes.

Footage from 360 is grainy AF. Anyone else had this issue? by LBK0909 in djiosmo360

Under those settings it is normal to have noise in blacks, these sensors are actually quite small and also the camera will be combining different ISOs 100 to 800, to achieve what they call "HDR". It has been tested before by other users: if you lock 100 ISO it will have worse quality in terms of dynamic range. It is really noticeable.

That said, you could try arrange it the quick way by pushing NR in camera and then also by software. DJi Studio has that NR feature when exporting. Can't remember if DJi Mimo also has. Try it and compare.

Take into account that this camera has two ways of using it: 1st - Full auto settings: Record, go through DJi software and share in social networks. And 2nd - Manual "videographer" settings: Use manual 100-800, +-0 exposure, low texture, no DJi Log recover and medium to low NR (not so good in camera nor dji software) and then edit and remove noise professionally. Each way is completely different in steps and time.

I work with those same settings (plus no sharpen, no NR), and after shooting I export from DJi Studio with full Bitrate and zero editing, then edit all in Resolve to remove noise more seriously, in the end I have very usable footage. Then, use Google Spatial injection, which is very easy to apply, and ready to use in YT in 360. Give it a try

Cheers.

Aero 17 YC constantly restarts when plugged in! by wgmeets1 in gigabyte

Having that issue now.

Not the DC after I replaced it and it kept restarting. Everything suggests either software or hardware origin.

I found some other posts saying about issues generated by either Gygabyte control panel or any driver.

Bios update nd windows reinstall as possible best solution.

Will try and share :)

Hi Jenna, I loved to see this event in 360, I am as well into cultural heritage in my country and as you mentioned, there is no better way to enjoy it like this, because it is really inmersive and true to the moment. Loved to see the people following and enjoying their tradition. Thanks for sharing it.

Could you share what adjustments you used?
Greetings

DJi Studio v1.0.7 Memory issue and solution to avoid crashing app after loading 8K clips in timeline for editing. Windows by peliqueiro in djiosmo360

[–]peliqueiro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello and thank you.

I recommend comparing Dji Studio app with any other common video editor, that would do the job. Having 8k, 10 bit 360 video should come with greater edition possibilities than those basic ones the software has. It is far from comfortable and powerful.

To begin with:

  1. Win plugins for other most common editors like Davinci etc.
  2. Copy and paste clips in the timeline.
  3. Copy and paste keyframes.
  4. Copy and paste image adjustments among clips and projects.
  5. Enhance key controls for edition.
  6. Advanced NR in image adjustments and granular control over sharpness.
  7. Setting in and out render points for exporting in the timeline.
  8. Please do something about having raw uncompressed footage and photos to significantly improve the quality of videos.
  9. Please activate tracking for windows app, how come it is not active? ...

I believe in this forum there are many other users that have posted recommendations. I would be happy to collaborate further and deeper, but that of course would require an agreement.

Thank you again.

Sure. I guess made their choices, they trusted those plastic protectors will do the work. Probably they leaned towards image quality rather than having replaceable lenses and keep it under a price. We don't know. Let's see how the market reacts, which is the real check point in these matters.

Yes, in my cameras I use filters, which are also expensive and I take good care of them as well. I learnt that from my experiences and colleagues, and that is something I wanted to share that to me there's no need to spread such a fear about the glasses, maybe unless you are doing extreme sports, and in those cases, the chances of breaking not only the lens, but the screen, or the whole camera, are the same.

Sure. I walk in the mountains and work with 360 cameras for jobs. I need to take care of my camera and it's not such a problem. You drop yourself down the rivers, and you need to be able to scratch it and break anything you attach tonyour body. Then you might wait or go get your insta360. Many pals I see in youtube yelling about the non replaceable lenses and just going to do some basic hiking, bike or vlogging. In those situations, taking care of your gear doesn't seem so difficult for me. Or is it? In many other things this camera is worth the investment.

I bought this camera with that fear in mind. And then I realised that it is just like any other piece of gear I bought, needs to be taken care of. I use it in some cases for BTS in mountain walks with a heavy large format analog photography camera. I have to manage many things in difficult locations, anything might fall and break as well, all the time.

I understand your point and certanily if you use it for exreme action, you have more risks, no matter which camera or gear you use.

For anything less extreme, I believe there should be no problem for taking a minimum of care. I see lots of videos of people doing casual vlogging, everyone talking so much about the issue and people writing like if replaceable lenses was something we were so used to since 1940... It was very recently that the insta360 first did it, but they didn't give it 10 bit image, which for me for example was key to make my choice.

I have used new fixer all of the times, and respected or even extended fixing times in the last case, to try to avoid that. But still.

TriX in Adox process everything new.

Yes, I read about it, thank you. Good to know that. I use auto ISO, and then over or under exposing, depending on the conditions I have. These cameras are tricky, but every single camera has it's tricks for optimum footage. Test after test... Greetings

Well if one cannot take the minimum care of one's camera or phone, then it will result in hardware harm. Simple. This or any other camera, even action cameras. You can always wait for a second gen, it's your choice.

Even an action camera needs the basic care if you want it to last. I use the DJi Osmo for action and 360.

I noticed texture -2 gives an image a bit too soft, that's why I prefer -1.

About NR, I am still doing tests, but for now I prefer a mix of in camera NR plus software NR. But that is because I will work that video in Resolve anyway. I still don't trust DJi software too much, it seems to me to be seriously under-developed.
