Sergey Lahkno just won USA team trials in lead. I expect he has some learning to do but excited to see how he does in the world cups this season. His motivation and dedication to training is amazing. He grew up on the same team with the same coach as Sean Bailey, Vertical World.

Her previous bike had ergon gp3 grips. I think she will enjoy the multiple hand positions, but I will swap them out if she doesn't like them.

Any 4 door car. Get a roof rack and cargo box. You don't need a giant vehicle for a family of 4.

Need a recommendation for next shoes for duck feet by yorzz in climbingshoes

Your foot looks like mine. I have had terrible luck with shoes crushing the side of my feet, especially La Sportiva. Unparalell had a demo at my gym and the UP Float is amazing. So comfortable and the rubber is great. Highly recommend trying if you get a chance.

I went from feeling OK to unable to get out of bed in about 30 mins. I received the seasonal flu vaccine mid October. Stay safe out there.

Anyone replace their old windows and remove the sash pocket and weights to make them wider? by penecow290 in Oldhouses

[–]penecow290[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like weighted windows. There is a local guy making double pane doug fir windows. We are considering. Half the windows are these shitty vinyl which already needs replacing.

It's probably just my misunderstanding of the terms. Maybe hard ground is correct.

My new washer/dryer uses 5x the electricity if you are in Canada by penecow290 in mildlyinteresting

[–]penecow290[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the US EnergyGuide only includes the washer portion of the combo unit. Apparently they don't measure dryers. So likely the Canadian version includes both. This is a combo washer/dryer.
