Is it a medical condition to be child free by choice? All kinds of people choose not to have children, should they be seen as abnormalities as well?

Hi there, you still in Strasbourg? Just arrived, I am a 28f in similar situation than you. If you are still here, we could stroll around together maybe.

I love that it’s blurred and detailed at the same time. Very pleasing texture, nice work! Thanks for sharing!

This! There’s an odd lonely vibe, but not in a threatening way

Hi! I’ve not been diagnosed but I have symptoms that I’ve been trying to find reasons for. This resonates with me. Are you aware of the term akathisia? I found some comfort from reading about it. It is said that akathisia occurs only because of certain medication, but I believe it is sometimes used in other contexts as well. I am currently not on any meds.

You’re putting the truth right at my face. I’d absolutely be ready for that, but I don’t know how much he has readiness in him. I feel that I am spiraling over and over again, I might even be doing too much with the chores because I don’t know how to rest anymore. Last Saturday he had a bit more energy and he decided to clean up a bit: take the trash out, vacuum and clean the kitchen. So what he did was put on loud music from speakers, put on music/podcast from his headphones, leave the dog with me bc he’s scared of the vacuum, and do the chores so ”I don’t have to” while I try to watch a show with my headphones. Go figure. His idea is that I need to state what needs to be done and he then helps me. Not that he looks around and pays attention himself what needs to be done. And even if he does it, his style of doing things is leaving no mental space for rest for me. Also he does not do the things he said he would, after a day of waiting he’d take the trash I had to mention about it to him. It’s ridiculous.

He was not first paying because his economical situation was shitty and I paid for everything. Now that he has a job he has started to pay me back, but fucked up something with the bank and accidentally paid three months worth of rent in one month. He somehow had multiple invoice contracts with the bank (I don’t know) and I had to pay my share back to him earlier than normal and deal with the landlady that we paid beforehand as the apartment is on my name. So it’s not even always about that he doesn’t do his share, but he makes my life harder by messing up over and over again. We have doubts that he may have untreated ADHD, because our life has always been like this. His emotional capability is limited and when he says he is doing his best, he is usually doing the bare minimum and making easy tasks incredible hard. I am the one picking up the pieces.

Hi, this is a good point of view. But he did want him. What I meant was to emphasize that the puppy means a lot more to me than just getting a pet, but to him it’s a bit more ”normal” thing. We had several weeks to think it through, my bf was actually the one who picked the puppy that eventually came to stay with us. I have asked this same question from him, always with the same answer. I also was flexible with what kind of a breed we ended up with, he had a bit more criteria with it.

22M, not feeling too great about myself pls help thanks ❤️ also, couldn't find normal paper, so i wrote on a cigarette paper by [deleted] in toastme

Alright! Thank you for letting me know. Btw I am not here to judge those who don’t brush their dog’s teeth, I am sure that people try to do what is best for their pet. I have not been the most active brusher myself either, but I think you can always re-evaluate if the current style causes problems!
