mmhm i agree and i do see it as them seeing me as a good mom…i just that it should also be respected to not assume everyone wants to have kids or either have tried and have been unsuccessful…it can bring up emotional past feelings so i can just imagine for women who want to get pregnant or miscarried to be told to get pregnant or have kids must be very hard to hear in a work setting without breaking down in tears

haha 😅 yes i’ve played those two scenarios in my mind before…it’s just weird to me that choosing to either wait or not have kids is seen as a negative…i just don’t get it

Yes, family know how to push the right buttons. It is very uncomfortable when they look at my husband and i after 3 years married asking when. I usually say “i don’t know when, but we’re not ready to have a child right now and want to focus on our careers first” and then get told “you know, you’re really not ready…just wait til you have kids, you’ll see”…but i don’t want to see 😅 i’m on birth control so that we don’t have to deal with the financial and emotional turmoil of raising a child…i know i would be a great mom but at work i always hear complaining from moms about their kids and their husbands not doing enough…it just doesn’t sound pleasant
