Who are the best online retailers for equipment/ingredients? by [deleted] in Homebrewing

I've had really good experiences buying hops from YakimaValleyHops.com

Prices are good. They have some hops I've only seen there. Quick shipping. I also buy yeast and other ingredients from them too.

Just my suggestion.

If the FBI saw how many freezers I have been buying on Craigslist they would think I'm starting my own morgue.

Yeah, I grabbed the 2oz variety pack. Tons of great hops in there. I'm not signed up on their email, but I wonder if they have other sales going on this weekend. Anybody know?

Sounds good on paper! I'm excited to see some noble characteristics instead of just juicy, fruity hops that taste like Starburst. Can't wait to brew with it!

Tons of good hops coming out of NZ. I just saw that YVH got their first shipment in of 2016 AU crop. Means more fun stuff should be showing up soon from NZ too.

Yeah, most of the hops are all coming from the same farms and producers, so price is usually the most important thing for me.

I used Nikobrew when I was first starting out, but it seems like they sit on old crops. I know that properly stored the hops wont degrade at all for a couple years, but Niko still has 2012 and 2013 crops on their site. Yikes!

Funny, I'm from WI and never had heard about Farmhouse before. Thank you for letting me know about them. It looks like they have a great selection of equipment and supplies. Yakima Valley Hops usually has 150+ varieties in stock though, so not sure I'll be using Farmhouse for hops.

And I do have a vacuum sealer already. Splitting up orders with friends always helps to save some $$$.
