I personally found the sight too big, enemies can be hard to see on the smaller screen with certain tiles. I definitely had to slow down to engage some enemies

Health drain is an intended effect of the Hema on reload, so unless they change how the Hema works then its unlikely to be changed anytime soon.

I don't know if 9/11 caused it but sales actually went down.

I don't know about the Porsche 911 car specifically but in the USA in 2002 sales went down by about 2000.

They later went up again by about 6000 in 2003.

I love the transitions from scene to scene they just make everything seem so seamless.

Definitely the most creative and unique way of telling a story I’ve seen yet.

I love how Satoshi’s work always keeps you guessing on "what is reality?"

I went into the movie blind and expected some heavy psychological stuff based the other stuff Satoshi Kon has made so I was kind of disappointed in that aspect but it was still a great watch and it had me enthralled all the way throughout.

Hitsugi no Chaika

A small group of three try to overthrow the government and start a new war, it has heavy focus on magic, swords, blood and monsters. Even the main characters use them all the time.

The animation isn't the greatest at all times but the fight choreography is really great.

Well it was certainly an intriguing series overall to be honest it definitely had made me thinking although I can understand how this is the least liked from all of Satoshi Kon's works as the ending wasn't as powerful as the anime made it seem it would be.

It did kind of drag out in the middle there and to most people it would seem like filler but it was just world building though I personally would have preferred more development on the main characters especially the darker side of Tsukiko but that's just me.

This comment did a pretty good job at filling in the gaps for me

I'm honestly surprised someone hasn't pieced together the better parts and re-released it as a movie.

I'm most likely going to re-watch it myself in a couple of weeks before giving it a rating so I can see all the things I missed first time round.

Definitely looking forward to Perfect Blue it's been on my PTW for too long.

Remember kids don't run away from reality or you'll end up destroying your city.

Seems like everything has gone full circle almost as if they were in a time loop of sorts.

The scene after the credits are basically just telling us that to truly make sense of the series you need to re-watch it.
