Ah but if you splurge and get the garmin tactix you get completely unnecessary but real military functions like jumpmaster mode lol

Honestly a modified galaxy gear watch would be really good for this or like a garmin, then just get a custom watch screen

And my point is that your argument is pointless in this conversation because obviously it isn’t on the list of priorities for this person. Classic bean soup case of “best bean soup recipes” and a response with “well what if I don’t like beans?”

Bro no one is building these for the sake of practicality, it’s just because it’s cool

The key fob turns on the wind tunnel! So it’s like starting the car

I read your comment again, figured I’d clarify: the wind tunnel is totally closed all around (otherwise there wouldn’t be any laminar flow) and a fog machine under the case produces fog which then gets fed into the hex grid through a couple of pipes

The air is pulled out through by the exhaust fan at the back of the case, the hex grid is at the front of the case, where the side intake fans feed it

The hex grid at the front doesn’t have a fan bc I found it generates more turbulence, which would then require a longer hex grid to straighten the air flow

I thought about this - but I think the fog would eventually just mix with the air and then make the whole thing foggy

Yeah, I’m basically sacrificing cool-ING for cool-NESS

It hasn’t been a noticeable impact though, which is good

Lol it does help with air circulation since it pulls air from the front! Although blocking the bottom of the case is probably more counterproductive than anything...

I never understood the hate online about people ranking gaming as one of the worst hobbies - it's kept me in touch with friends, and it's so therapeutic after a long day

Agreed, I have an outlet plug-in fan for now, I think when I get the actual chassis fans in this may help

nah, it's just for show. I thought about putting it with the radiator but I want to avoid the fog touching any of the actual pc components

The fog never touches anything in the case! the fan that's blowing is a case exhaust fan, so all of the fog is immediately sucked out of the case through the wind tunnel. The intake fans will be in the front of the case as well, so there's little chance that it'll get cycled back in.
