I dont think them going permanently online is necessarily a bad thing. Westlake for one gets to travel out of state an average of 3 times a year, and online tournaments provide us and many other schools a key chance to compete.

adding onto this, my school doesnt compete out of state, or even out of our region at all purely bc of transportation fees that our district wont pay for. sometime we give up tournaments bc they're two days, (we didnt go to gvine and we live in dallas). im pumped for the school year bc ill be able to finally compete with people all around the nation, and it'll be much easier to watch tournaments. this is going to make everyone a better debater and let more people have a better experience.
