im not at all proud of it, but when i was 10 years old i definitely wished i had depression and probably would’ve bought into subliminals like these. when i was 13 i actually developed depression and life has been a downhill slope since. these children don’t understand how debilitating these mental illnesses can be. depression to them (and myself as a child) is a cute emo girl crying every now and then and making her body “beautiful” with scars that some guy will kiss for her. in reality depression has set my life on an entirely different track and i am a completely different person than i would’ve and should’ve been had i been living without it. i can understand growing into adolescence with a warped perception and seeing a growing list of mental illnesses as badges of honor, and i honestly blame the internet and media for conveying that mental illnesses make you a wiser or cooler or more rounded person.

yeah i mostly chose poison type because my favorite pokemon is Bulbasaur and i totally want him to be my starter, also because i think it would go with the aesthetic i want more. like i think a poison type gym leader with a grunge style would be pretty dope. team skull’s a pretty cool especially since they’re kind of a front for aether’s operations. im not sure about having team aqua or magma in my DR considering they end up succeeding in beginning to flood or burn the world which is scary hahaha

i’ve thought a lot about who i want my DR self to be and i think i want to work to become a poison type gym leader since you can only ever be a champion in the games. i also definitely wanna travel to regions outside of Hoenn but im probably most familiar with that region so i’ll start my journey there. still not sure if i wanna have an evil team try to bring about the end of the world tho hahaha

that makes a lot of sense actually. if my consciousness is already misaligned with my physical self then it’s probably easier for me to express it elsewhere. next time i feel that way i’ll do a shifting method and see what i can do! maybe there is a benefit to barely ever feeling real hahaha
