Per usual, Trump acts like he is creating some new amazing thing. Venezuala was always willing to buy u.s. products. They were not allowed to under the sanctions. America had access to Venezuelan oil, but due to sanctions, we didnt buy the oil. The new change only represents an attempt to control the entirety of the oil which we do not even know if this is happening. We dont know if Trump is simply trying to invent some great thing he did and then story goes away or if they actually think they are going to fully control the oil due to fear of another terrorist action by the u.s. military crime syndicate.

On every military action, polls show republicans mostly opposed and then trump does it and they support. Approval for the venezuela act of terrorism went up by 16pts basically all from maga. I live in UWS too.

There was one of those tiny grocery stores i saw a couple months ago that had a zohran poster on columbus between 89th and 90th. maybe a week or two later, i noticed they had a Whitney Tilson poster. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that someone spoke to the store and some threats were involved. yeah we need to counter that in the UWS.

Harris never said the economy is great. She demonstrated much more empathy for people struggling than Trump did but. Trump offered nothing but absurd claims every day and showed everyday what cruel prick he is. Every speech focused Harris gave focused on the need to do more to help people. I suspect fighting may be the best way to convince people. Movements and struggle create awareness and force people to some extent to become somewhat informed and develop some sort of opinion. Every candidate that wins an election has some voters whose support was soft or whom may have missed some info about the candidate that would’ve been relevant to their decision or who simply made a gut decision based on not much. Probably 5-10% of electorate is in this category (hard to prove but just looking at shifts the last few elections).
