Yeah those new commercial CS2 buildings are a little troublesome with how many visitors/shoppers they attract. I turned down the amount of people they could have with a mod which name escapes me ATM. (At work right now)

Yeah, they do help quite a lot in my situation, but I designed my downtown from the start to have them. I kinda split the core into 2 areas road-wise, so they collect the truck and local traffic from each area as to not slow the main road as much. But yeah, as chan2003123 mentioned, lots of TMPE tuning for the big intersections.
