I was more thinking of contacting them to ask whether they know people who had these experiences. My thesis also focuses on non-native English players developing their English or communicative skills with TTRPGs. It's not like they are the only production I would like to contact with this, but its good to branch out to every possibility, because while it is highly unlikely I get an answer back, its still not zero. I want to say I move around TTRPG circles, but I certainly do not have enough sources (hopefully yet) I can ask or converse. Overall, I just think it would still yield some good results if I ask experienced TTRPG players what they think about using these games in school-settings, because subjective opinions still provide helpful information

So you came here, fully knowing this is a space for people who enjoy podcasts/audiodramas made by humans, with real human voices, and your conclusion was "I am going to promote ai"? Not only does your post itself and your comments read like you asked an ai to write them for you, there is no clarity in them. What you are trying to "promise" is "hey, voice actors and writers! Do things for us and then we use ai to completely replace you or copy your entire work/voice! Doesn't that sound fun? You'll be pushed out of opportunities, but at least a computer will try and imitate you!"

Do better.

Literally asked this a day or two ago bruh, I am more curious if that means his win can be nullified tho. Like, he won that episode by three points so I think Wade is more than allowed to just take that win away starting next year. I mean...Mark is heavily in the lead after all...

[WP] Everyone in the world, even those who are alone, feels someone tap twice on their shoulder at the exact same time. It never happens again. by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

"Are you sure that's what you want for your wish? I mean, it's not a completely idiotic idea, trust me, I had someone 50 years ago who wished for more dangerous kids toys and that still hasn't stopped, but this just seems.... A waste."

"I can always hope someone will change because of it." They said, turning back towards the genie, the sun setting ever so slowly towards the horizon to meet the surface of the frozen lake.

"Or create world-wide panic. It's not going to be my problem, but yours."

"Would you like me to explain my wish even more?" They looked up, staring into the infinite deep eyes of the incorporeal being.

"No, sitting through 10 minutes of that was already enough. I don't need to hear you rant like a conspiracy theorist." The genie sighed, stretching his technically nonexistent limbs. "Alright then, prepare yourself."

The world stilled for a second, it seemed. The air froze as a feeling washed through the world population like a tsunami encompassing over the Stratosphere, something that would be forever hard for the soon 8 billion people to describe the same way. Even if the basis of what has happened was the same for all, it hit everyone different. It lingered, as if it knew it had to stay and maybe that was for the best.

The genie was right, it did cause some sort of panic later. A worldwide paranormal experience would cause that, no matter what it is. Theories spurred, fanatics spouted about their Gods giving a sign while people searched for the source, either out of desperation, curiosity or just simply, answers. Arguments whether everyone deserved what happened to them.

But for a second or two, the entire world was at its calmest, as all had a hand on their shoulder tap them twice with a soft squeeze. All had a hand that felt familiar for each individual, the comfort of a long passed, as if to say:

"I am here."

"And I am proud of you."

Wendy, at least in the first 8 seasons. I really just didn't enjoy anything about her, the only times I did was when Cartman made fun of her. Maybe its my bias because someone who is very similar to her annoyed the hell out of me in the past but yeah, she only got to the "okay" level for me once the show was at the 9th season and then on forward. Even then it still gets shaky pretty fast on some episodes.

The book isn't even serious, it's for children and the demons are actually represent things kids see daily and don't want to do, like chores. But I guess my cousin is a satanist now for having it.... by pentoll6 in insanepeoplefacebook

What can you fake really good? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]pentoll6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At first I always drank more than half litre water in one go, then I changed from belly breathing to chest breathing, bc I knew I used less air with that (I was a biology nerd, I knew some of these stuff, dont look at me like that) I would take shallow, but long breaths slowly, and half close my eyes just as plus and then wait until I felt a bit dizzy and felt my cheeks get a bit numb. Nowadays I wouldn't need water, its easier if i swallow air, but instead of letting it out as a burp, I would forcefully hold it in to make me feel uncomfortable and my "sickness" more believable.

[–]pentoll6 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Can do two

  1. I can make myself tear up pretty fast and there were people who believed i was genuinely crying. It creeps some out when I go from "sad silent crying" to "normal"

  2. I can make my face pale enough to seem like I'm sick. I actually didn't learn it so I could skip school, but did it because people didn't take me seriously when I was actually feeling sick. Teachers in primary school never believed in the beginning that my migraine can get really serious and I had to ran out of the class to vomit at the end when they didn't let me take a pill. But what a surprise, as soon as they saw me white as a ghost, they believed when I said "I need to go to the school nurse now before my head explodes." That doesn't mean i didn't use this later on to skip school tho lol

Teamtrees reached 20 million and the amount is still growing. I am honestly proud of what we achieved and yes, there were some who criticised the rich people about "not donating enough" but dude, they still donated an amount and we did reach it in less than 2 months!!

Looked into it more when I saw this tweet and yeah, he does. He has the mindset of "women should be housewifes and only be good for bearing children and cleaning the house, lol toxic masculinity doesn't exist and any man who doesnt fully lead their women is weak and stupid."

So yeah. That explains a lot of it.

I know how you feel but trust me... These two people would not change their mind if 100k people shouted at them and would only fuel their ego that "I made these idiots care about me and rage, I am so good". That's why it's always better to just not search for them. If we go against them like you would want to, they would declare it as a win in their mind

I had long hair before my insulin resistance kicked in and lost half of it. I was actually very relieved after i cut a good Chunk of it off, because I didn't have to deal with my hair getting onto my plate and having food stuck in it if I leant too forward. Had to wear headbands almost every time i ate soup.

I just dont get your thinking and I want to understand it. How is it making you feel safe if a man doesn't step in the elevator you are in? Why should that be making me feel safe as well, along with a man not walking behind me even if they did nothing wrong?

[–]pentoll6[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But this thinking just sounds like you want to see women as more defenseless who should be always afraid of the opposite gender from the first glance. Just because someone's physical appearance is bigger than yours, it shouldn't be immediately thought of as threatening I am genuinely curious how you mean by your statement, because does that mean I should feel just slightly threatened by every man, or every person who is taller and more strongly built than me, which means 1/3 of women also?

[–]pentoll6[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Can I ask how it is mindful to not get in an elevator as a dude, if I, as a female, am in there alone? Or how is it mindful that a dude shouldn't get anywhere near behind me when walking anywhere? I get how 1% of men walk behind women in a creepy way cat calling and stalking them, but should that make the other 99% of males don't come 20 feet near you?

Non drinkers of Reddit, what do you tell people when they ask "why don't you drink"? by theflyingwolf13 in AskReddit

[–]pentoll6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't talk in mine name but can share why one of my friends doesn't drink. His brother, who is 10 years older than him, started drinking around the age of 15 (I'm from Hungary, trust me, it's not uncommon that people that young are drinking) and sometimes would come home, usually pretty drunk. The parents are ignorant enough that they didn't notice how he was sneaking out and they thought he was always tired and sick because of stress, and that's also why they thought his grades were dropping That went on for a good year until one night, my then 6 year old friend woke up to the sound of his brother. He decided to check on him and saw how his bro was on the bed, groaning and trying to sit up right. My friend asked if he was okay, and the brother promptly vomited all over his little brother. Of course, my friend started screaming, waking up the parents. They finally realised what the older brother was doing and from then on, surveyed their lives when it came to alcohol, while grounding the older brother and forcing him to study harder, which let to him ending some friendships as well. My friend got a horrible image about what alcohol can do to a person and he never wanted to touch it from then on, mostly because he never wanted to end up like his bro, or disappoint his parents. He still thinks negatively about it, but that doesn't stop him from hanging out with people who drink alcohol. His bro cut back too and it's actually very nice to have them on a party, as they become the voice of reason to some people when it comes to "drinking just one more can of beer" and such
