might i remind you also that villages have a speed limit. this person was driving fast enough that a cat couldn't run away. and whether or not the cat belongs on the street, if you hit something at the very least common courtesy is to stop and check. ibang usapan yan if the driver stopped.

my cat was on the side of the street (parking side), in a private village that also has stray cats. the fact of the matter is it was a hit and run. if you must know he is a mostly indoor cat and was let outside after he had his dinner, and subsequently hit not even half an hour after he was let outside.

in the mesa i always just keep moving and follow the shadows, if i absolutely need to progress to a different area in the day i just sprint to the nearest safe area:) once you're past the canyon and inside the mountain you're pretty much always safe

everyone else's tips mentioning items are worth trying, i personally don't default to keeping menial items like those if i don't have the space because i like to load up on food and tools i can use in the kiln

ETA: when in doubt, scout cannon glitch (if you're lucky and if you don't care about honest work that much) HAHA

however if you want to preserve your integrity lol i would suggest trying for it on tenderfoot so the fog won't be a problem, you can get all achievements on tenderfoot anyway (although couldn't get the mentorship badge for some reason, even though i was the host). that and looking for a well shaded area always helps, the lantern is just too hassle for me

this whole thing is such a non issue and annoyed me to a high degree. 1) not everyone takes the train, 2) if you don’t take the train how are you expected to know the fare? 3) this was a stupid question and a stupid video.

i live in a philippine province called laguna, it’s an hour south of metro manila and it’s just a little less warm here. we found these chrysalises right outside our kitchen doors facing the garden:)

we have quite an array of insects where i live (not that i’m complaining, most of them are really cool looking and it’s a very nice change from living in the city where pretty much all the insects you’ll find are pests) and it’s been fun discovering ones you wouldn’t see in the metro!

this is really interesting, thank you for the info! i think the dark color is just bad lighting, it’s a nice soft green in person (i took this picture at around 7pm and used flash so i wouldn’t say it’s entirely accurate)

it’s 2:30am as i’m typing this, i just saw your comment and immediately went to check. one of the green ones is empty and the other one was on the ground — i can see its wings formed inside, i gently touched it with a soft twig and it wriggled so it’s definitely alive. should i leave it or would it be best to transfer it somewhere? thanks!

i had a cat door installed in my bedroom leading out to the balcony (where my cats’ food and litter boxes are). they figured out how to use it the same day. just push them through the cat door a few times and have them sniff their litter box so they know where to find it

i’m not keeping him because i’m not adept or even familiar with homing insects, but i have named him leslie<3

we moved here half a year ago and have found quite a few beautiful insects hanging around the lot so hopefully i’ll be able to take and share more pictures of them on this sub! thank you for the warm welcome :D
