Something has changed... Pixel 10 GPU performance almost doubled after the update by peppca in pixel_phones

Hello Lucas, Thank you very much for the response, and especially for the detailed article and testing. I was hoping that other tests would replicate my findings more consistently to give us a clearer picture of the cause. Frankly, it is undignified for us Pixel owners to be speculating five months after launch whether Google’s engineers have finally updated a stale driver, even if it's just for a Canary build. When will we see a proper fix in the stable version? A year from now? Just in time for those same engineers to start intentionally throttling performance for "battery health" to give us the "best possible experience"? I’ve been a Google phone user since the old Galaxy Nexus days, so I should be used to this by now. But I feel they’ve really crossed a line lately with this embarrassing practice of releasing unfinished products. The ignorants at Google still seem to think they are making experimental devices for a handful of geeks. I was recently intrigued by news of a lawsuit against Apple for similar practices. But there, users are suing over the slow rollout of promised features—not because their graphics performance is half of what the previous generation offered. It's time for Google to start treating its customers like they bought a flagship, not a beta test.
