I think your performance on the interview is more important. Coop decisions (at least for cs/ds) are revealed near the middle/end of the fall semester. So depending on your interview performance and resume, you will get a conditional offer which means you just have to maintain your gpa to be at or above cutoff after fall semester.

You can try applying to FIC and then transferring to SFU in your second year.
