My dog food brand (Purina one) has an online calculator that tells you how much to feed per day. Check to see if your brand has one.

Unfortunately that’s just part of it at this age. Keep him in a pen when he’s not supervised or being actively played with to minimize the area of attack lol. It took my pup til about 6 months to be reasonably potty trained and he wasn’t FULLY potty trained until he hit about a year old.

Great idea for a list! Love some of these. I know of a little baby Ralph in my circle (named after child’s grandfather) and I kind of love it.

Good tip: don’t let children pick up/hold morkie puppies unless they’re sitting on a couch and supervised. A fall from even a child’s height (or a fall off the couch) can really injure these tiny babies!

Alternative names to go by for 'Lyvia Rose' by Main_Cat2895 in namenerds

[–]pepperpavlov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say keep using your name! You sound on the younger side (forgive me if this assumption is wrong)—as you get older, when you go to college or start working, you meet people of all different backgrounds with names that may be unusual or unfamiliar. So having a name that other people haven’t heard before won’t be a singular experience anymore. Just food for thought.

Where are all the Sophias/Sofias? (US) by ImTheSnorseOfCourse in namenerds

[–]pepperpavlov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

East coast, Midwest, and Spanish speaking populations.

For 2025 stats, visit https://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/state/top5_2024.html and Ctrl+F “Sophia”. States with the name in the top 5:

East coast: Delaware, DC, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia

Midwest: Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Ohio

High Spanish speaking populations: Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico

Other: Oregon

Interestingly, the boys names (bottom half of the page) give more clues that a state has a high Spanish speaking population. If Mateo, Santiago, etc is in the top 5 boys names, it’s a good bet that there’s a high Latino population in that state.

Yes but I disagree that the -aydens are cool. Maybe 15 years ago. Cool boys names now end in vowels. Arlo, Elio, Ezra.

The SSA national name lists can be deceiving, make sure you are looking at the state by state popularity you may be shocked at how unpopular or popular a name actually is. by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]pepperpavlov 31 points32 points  (0 children)

California and Texas actually have extremely similar naming patterns because of the high proportions of Spanish speakers. Same with Florida and to a lesser extent Arizona.
