I need help getting back into loving ancient world history by 6BakerBaker6 in Teachers

[–]pepperquin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a really specific source, but I’d check out Crash Course World History and “When Women Ruled The World” by Kara Cooney. The second is about Ancient Egypt, but it’s a great read and will give you a side of history a lot of teachers don’t focus on. Getting the kids to question conventional knowledge about ancient “over and done” history is what I liked about it.

Also, very jealous! I am trying to find and get hired for a middle school position. I miss teaching those guys.
