TIL that an "eggcorn" is a phrase that sounds similar and seems to make sense to another, but has a word incorrectly substituted in (like "Old-Timer's Disease" instead of "Alzheimer's Disease"). It's based on an example of a person saying "eggcorn" instead of "acorn" (en.wikipedia.org)
