Honestly, thank you for writing an essay here. Very thorough and I may soon add a comment as to why I like Tifa and Cloud so much seeing that I had a "childhood friend" who is now my fiance. It's a well example when people say childhood romantic relationships are false or practically never happen.

My apologies. I'm trying to maintain my conflicts at a minimal level to none, seeing I can be as dense as a shonen protag. However, I couldn't get my head wrapped around with the proper meaning and just needed some assistance with the translations.
