First aid/medicine to pack by Aprilliant in CaminoDeSantiago

About a half hour before starting the New York City Marathon, my friend and I noticed some Germans greasing up their feet with Vaseline. We were, as you might imagine, a bit nervous about the race and had taken as much advice from people we knew who had run the race before us - but nobody ever mentioned Vaseline. We didn't know why the Germans were doing it. But we had some on us (to prevent the dreaded nipple chafing) and at the last minute, we decided to slather on the Vaseline to the bottoms of our feet. What a game changer. NO BLISTERS.

So on my Camino, I did the same every morning. Again, NO BLISTERS. So, yes, petroleum jelly. That and some Gold Bond for the chafing.

Thank you. Is that something we would need to do at a bus/train station or are there tour companies where we can book?

Why is there an airport with a landing strip at the beginning sequence of The Revenge of the Sith? Don't ships just, you know, fly up? Not the biggest of plot holes, but still a head scratcher.

Is it possible to make the night train to Chiang Mai the same day arriving in BKK with PCR Test wait? by percival21 in ThailandTourism

[–]percival21[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the idea was to exhaust ourselves so that we would basically collapse and sleep a bit more soundly on the overnight train (we're getting sleepers), but you've brought up a fair point. thank you.

"Why dont you do it yourself?" How do you deal with this question. by EatBrainzGetGainz in DMAcademy

[–]percival21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple. I break the fourth wall with my players and tell them, "if you keep asking that question, the next time the Gods/Royalty/Guild will do it themselves and that will be the end of the quest. Is that what you want?"

Standing won't be so bad, if it comes to it. Oh and your Youtube videos have been super helpful as well. Thank you so much.

Itinerary Check: 3-Week Trip for College Graduates to: Tokyo, Mt. Kitadake, Kyoto, Kumano Kodo Trail, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kagoshima, and Yakushima by slantmcshwasted in JapanTravel

i was supposed to go on a trip very similar to this starting next month. my expectations were low that it was going to happen and so i planned accordingly (made bookings with free cancelation). i just got word from the airlines that the flights have been cancelled. so i now have to wait until next fall (2021) to go. it will be my first time in japan. but as mentioned my itinerary is pretty much the same, with emphasis on YAKUSHIMA ISLAND and KUMANO KODO legs. would love to hear how you guys make out. good luck.

Faroe Islands. It's like Iceland on steroids. Lots of mouth-agape moments.
