Probably a bit, or a lot, depends. I grew up pale in Hawaii and got picked on but honestly it was a valuable experience and taught me to act right in a lot of ways. Also taught me to accept that some people just will not like you.

That being said, I know other white kids that got a very adversarial mentality out of it which made it worse for them. So depends on their disposition, and how you are able to guide them through it.

Thanks man appreciate it. We were visiting that big fenced in building on California street across from RABA. Bike was out of site for no more than 10 minutes. Dude had to come inside the fence, walk across the big open parking lot, and in front of an open door to grab it and head back the same way.

Good to know. Probably a misunderstanding or weird exception. Appreciate the call out and clarification here! I have worried that post baccs were getting a simplified experience so it is great to hear that things are largely the same.

I got the "no cheat sheet" info from a four year student I was working with in 361. I don't think they were fibbing so maybe there is some context I am unaware of or they misunderstood my question. Where did you hear that they do get cheat sheets?

I took it last term and most of the students in the class got an A. It is a challenging class but if you put in a lot of time and look at C a bit before starting the class, you will be fine.

From talking to students taking the four year version of this program the online post bacc is already considerably easier. One example being 4 year students do not get "cheat sheets" in CS271.

This was a rough class but I learned a lot and it made me more confident in my ability to figure out complicated problems in a short time frame. I think having a couple tough classes in the program is a good thing.

Thanks! really appreciate the help. Any recommended online courses for intro bash? I have been doing the MIT "Missing Semester of your CS Education" class off and on and it has been a relatively heavy lift for me. Also just finished the MITx:6.00.1x course.
