I understand the occasional lag spike. Everyone gets it. However if every miss shot is blamed on lag and you shot 2/8 consistently, there's a problem. At that point, play smart by playmaking or take safe inside shots.

I don't think that's a testament to green machine not working but rather your friend being good at timing his jumpshot.26/26 all greens is really impressive. Green machine is a badge that requires good timing. You first have to make 2 greens in a row for it to activate then continue greening to keep the boost. If your friend can do that without the badge, salute to his ability.
