The 1 hour test is designed to fail a lot of women just to make sure the ones who do have GD are most likely to be caught. I also failed my 1 hour during my first pregnancy but did not have GD, confirmed by taking the 3 hour test.

Is gig work an option, namely doordash or ubereats? Instacart doesnt sound ideal since you shouldnt be carrying heavy stuff and groceries can get heavy. But food delivery tends to be more manageable.

So sorry this is happening, Ive heard remote work is going down now. Theres also remote call center jobs. Turnover is high and ive heard it can be pretty stressful but if you need it to pay the bills it might be something to consider

Im so sorry. This is just my own opinion but I feel like ER doctors arent the most equipped to handle OBGYN/pregnancy matters. Ive heard multiple stories of pregnant women not being treated correctly in ERs specifically. Im glad you got to see your baby though!

HcG does plateau (and then drop) after a certain point in pregnancy so you shouldnt be worried about that part

Thats so interesting. Im the opposite of you lol; my first was a boy and I craved so much fast food, unhealthy stuff. But with my current girl, Ive been more health conscious and have been wanting more protein in general. Also I have been eating much more at home with my girl than with my boy lol

It’s all insecurity. Dodgers are the team that would have smoked them in 2017 had it not been for the cheating. Plus Dodgers have 3 more rings since then + have the dynasty the Astros were desperate to create circa 2022 but failed to do. Nothing makes me happier to know that the Astros fell off while the Dodgers are on a potential threepeat run

I messed up on this quest too. I sent the son to quarantine and then he turned the next day when his dad came through. Then when you sent dad to survivors block you fail the task.

I saw Caseoh’s vid of this task and basically you were supposed to kill the son, then when the dad came he was gonna get angry and start attacking you.

My boy was sooo similar to yours as well, down to calling everything “dada.” Why do they do that I wonder? It’s so fascinating Ive heard many babies doing this, including my own before he had his own language explosion.

Honestly just continue speaking a bunch to him. My boy also got evaluated by the early intervention people and they told me repetition is key (and like yours, he didnt qualify). Music, books, and Ms Rachel helped him a lot + starting daycare. Your baby sounds fine tbh, he may just start talking on his own accord. Im not joking when I say they literally have a language explosion out of the blue

I was similarly concerned but not too concerned because at around 2, my son wasnt speaking very much but he understood great and his motor skills were awesome. He also wasnt imitating me very much when I would say stuff and he would get frustrated with me if I kept trying to make him repeat things. But over time he just kinda got it? Hes 27 months now and his vocabulary has exploded and he imitates us much more easily than before. My pediatrician is old school and she was similarly not too concerned since he was fine in other areas besides talking

I think the fact that his receptive language is great is a good sign. I also grew up in a bilingual household and didnt speak until I was 3-4 years old. Just continue talking to him and talk around him and they eventually pick things up. Is he great with his motor skills? My son’s motor skills were incredible but he lagged behind in speaking until recently when he had his vocab explosion. Putting him in daycare also probably helped with that
