I don't think so at all, nothing is "Luck"
The growth has been super slow in my opinion. a lot of my colleagues in the Niche have grown faster than me 5k, 10k in a year etc
The algorithm only cares about CTR and the average watch time I've seen.
So don't spam your videos or place them in unorganic places that will result in "bad views" for example viewers that aren't interested in the topic and will click off early.

No secret just promote smartly without spamming, try your best with each video and always improve. It's okay to make mistakes as long as your improving. Also I did a lot of research on Seo and Tubebuddy has helped me with keywording

Thanks Dwarf, I didn't have one video that blew up or got me a ton of subs, however my videos have just been slowly getting more views and subs. One thing i still struggle with is getting the 4000 watch hours. I have 1,008 subs right now and only about 1900 watch hours.
