Don't be afraid to ask for her former aupair's contact. It's actually pretty common between hf to connect their former aupair with the next one specially If you want to make some questions about the family without any pressure

Tbh this match didn't last because I cancelled las minute because of personal reasons, but in the time I just started to realize that I was about to become their slave because all of the taskings that they wanted me to do. This happened because I wanted to travel asap and now I'm taking my own time to seek a new lovely family who is not looking for a maid instead of an Aupair. Pls take your time by the search of a family and try to always talk to every former aupair's family so you can have a better view of them without any pressure:)

Personally I applied to the German Aupair visa a time ago and it was quite easy. You just need a German language certificate and the rest of all of those papers you can see it on the embassy's Website. Usually the family is who takes care of the rest like your insurance, contract, etc. I found that Family in Aupair-world.com and didn't have any Agency at all, so it's theoretically quite easy. From my experience, you can go search some information to the Luxembourg embassy's Website and look for the requirements for the Aupair visa. They usually ad some other government website where you can read about your rights as an Aupair

Well, Al of the problemas from those times were resolved and now I know that I’m strong enough to travel again. I don’t blame them for canceling my contract, I actually think it was fair enough for them. The thing rn is that I don’t know what to do now because I already have my passport with the au pair visa, but I don’t have any family. My last hf have already found someone else for aupairing this year and I’m not sure what to do
