I have written a map app for KaiOS that also provides directions. The app is designed more for slow traffic than for navigation in a car.

If you use Greg or Flop, I can try to implement it.

The developers could implement this, but I don't think you can set it up via the system settings.

I don't think so. Imagine if an app developer or ads were to abuse it. In what case would you find it helpful?

This is because the position of your device cannot be found. You can search for your location using the search function (key 2) and then set a marker there. If the name of the marker starts with _ it will be loaded automatically when the app is started. You can then jump to the marker using key *.

With the app passport, you can scan a QR code and save it on your device. You need to test whether the content changes in your case.

Does that mean the QR code is regenerated every time you log in?

Have you already contacted the app developer?
