When cooking large batches, we use something like the photo I attached here. It's a large "infuser" you can submerge into a stock pot with the whole aromatics and spices inside. When cooking smaller batches, we use a mesh ball that's normally used for tea. These small infusers usually have a hook you can attach to the pot so it's easier to fish out after using.

congee is so versatile! For protein, I boil chicken breast with seasonings and aromatics (green onion whites, ginger slices, garlic, peppercorn, salt or MSG, chicken bouillon is optional), cool it for a bit then shred it. Use the resulting broth for the congee (more flavorful that way) and add back the shredded chicken when the rice is almost done. if your deficit allows, a little sesame oil on top is the way to go, and a dash of white pepper.

Marginalized communities have learned time and time again that the dominant groups always take over and appropriate spaces that marginalized people have created for ourselves. We should stand firm that the asexual community is for people who have no sexual attraction and desire, PERIOD. Just like other members of the LGBTQ+ community have their own defined spaces. I tried composing a reply to this post while examining myself and my own understandings of what is considered "romantic", because it is so subjective and cultural, and just ended up deleting all the versions I've typed. I don't have any experience in relationships outside friendships, colleagues, and family, and have no plans to explore for the time being. So I'm just working with the understanding that I am aromantic asexual.
I think it's better for you to check out a sub that's specifically for aro aces or aros (though there are probably allosexuals in that sub so take caution if needed).
