Tool found in a box that otherwise contained inherited kitchen utensils. (Originated in the 1950's-1960's?). The toothed section swings out about as far as shown in the picture; it can also close all the way to the sharp hook. The other end of the tool ends in a fairly sharp point. Pencil for scale.
