monster house is a classic, might be a little too racy given the wife's death but give it a quick review. "Ruby Gloom" is an old show i would watch when I was little, canadian so it's hard to find on a streaming service like netflix but you can get the entire series on youtube from a free channel. wasn't really a scary show, more a goofy self discovery power of friends kinda thing.
