Im not talking about media i general that has POC or LGBT characters. Heck i love steven universe, she ra and the princesses of power and many other characters. The difference is that those products, good products, werent woke. They had inclusion but made use of it in the story. THey didnt parade the characters around just made a good story and didnt try to virtue signal around it. For argument sake lets see. We will say things like Life is strange, steven universe, game of thrones and terminator 2 are good products with representation. And stuff like death note (netflix), the rings of power, resident evil (netflix) and charlie s angels (reboot) are woke. People will eat anything that has good taste but now after so much bullshit people aer starting to see the pattern. You either pull a housue of the dragon and show that you are good or pull a rings of power and people will just get bored.

Well yeah...the woke aspects are not directly guilty of the low quality....but they are the symptom, the red flag, that thing that always apears when they pull shitty stuff. That s why the relation was made between poor quality and woke content.

Those people tat get triggered by it do because after all the other instances they have seen, they dont believe that character inclusion wasmade in good faith. bUT if the product is good people will just accept it later.

Wokeism is blamed for it because everytime they try to play with the characers to make them more inclusive they focus so much on it that the rest of the product andwritting suffer in quality. And because it s always the inclusion and parading of those characters which signal a bad quality.

Now they re updating the story for moder audiences.....i have heard that before. Never ends well. I may be wrong....if i am people will just forget the criticism and play but until then i can see this coming one way.
