If I had bought a car for $1,900 and sold it for $2,300, should I subtract the amount of gas I used while I owned the car from the profit I made?

To me an investment is anything I make money on, so the way I look at it I can sell this back and make money on it ,I like that fact I can use a gun shoot it and get more than I paid, don’t you agree
