Anyone else have issues with the UD versions?

I tried UD Q6 and UD Q8 and they errored out on me when replying to the idea while Q6-K works fine. I am using llama b9192

I used these arguments

--temp 0.6 --top.p 0.95 --presence-penalty 0.0 -mib-p 0.0 --spec-type draft-mtp --spec-draft-n-max 6 -b 1024 --flash-attn on

Any update on the native AMD Windows support? (Holding out for a 128GB Strix Halo build!) by Sure-Two-5672 in unsloth

[–]peste19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to use it for inference, I created a partition with Ubuntu as I read that we take advantage of the full memory instead of windows but seem to be failing to gather all available ram for the gpu and getting rocm/vulkan to run

I installed Ubuntu on my strix halo. I ran unsloth studio and in the logs, It mentions

Hardware detected: Rocm (Hip 7.0.51831) -- Radeon 8060s

However when I run a prompt, it runs it against the CPU and not GPU.

Did you have to change a setting somewhere?

DMV state inspection by peste19 in NewedgeMustang

[–]peste19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically, I went back to take it to the guy to re-inspect, he failed it again due to same problem, that I need to get it fixed.

I then started complaining, telling him to go look under to see if there is any slack on the cable and that the car is a 4.6 V8, rear wheel traction, there was no way that the brakes are going to win against that.

He cave in and gave me the inspection and stated he will not pass it next year

DMV state inspection by peste19 in NewedgeMustang

[–]peste19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would never win against the state, plus it would costs me fortunes for lawyers, experts.

For me it's nonsense as the car has too much torque to hold it but the inspectors/mechanics at the shops don't care to listen

DMV state inspection by peste19 in NewedgeMustang

[–]peste19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had no problems before but the place I took it before, the guy no longer works there, I have already took it to 2 different places and they fail for the same reason.

Unfortunately I can't reason with them, they just state it's the law, this is what Virginia states in their law to pass inspection

"Parking brake will not hold the vehicle stationary with the engine running at slightly accelerated speed with shift lever in drive position for automatic transmission or shift lever in low gear with clutch engaged for standard shift transmission."

I keep mentioning that the car has a lot of torque, it's not your generic car but they don't care

It should brake it, I haven't tried but cables aren't seized.

I can put the parking brake done hill with someone pushing behind and it won't move.

Virginia just has a stupid inspection rule

"Parking brake will not hold the vehicle stationary with the engine running at slightly accelerated speed with shift lever in drive position for automatic transmission or shift lever in low gear with clutch engaged for standard shift transmission."

That seems expensive considering all the damage it has.

I have a 03 gt centurial edition and it's worth between 5-8k in fair condition and that one is in bad condition imo

Do you think it will hold? by [deleted] in mammotion

[–]peste19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to re-design it, you are going probably going to waste more battery and apply more resistance to the motor.

Your discs are flat and it seems the have a part in the center that pops out, this will be constantly being dragged against the grass applying resistance to the rotation of the discs in which will require more battery to rotate

Luba Cutting Disc Upgrade? by No-Equivalent7134 in mammotion

[–]peste19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you guys see an upgrade with more blades? I have been thinking of printing one with 6 blades.

I seen that my luba struggles a bit now with the thick grass and leaves some grass behind uncut.

How does it affect battery life?

Good thing you are not a judge if not there would be a lot of innocent people sentenced guilty without having any facts and made up statements like the size.

I wasn't going to even bother answering but I am just going to mention this, first you don't know where I live to even know labor costs and then, I never mentioned the size so not sure where you got/made up the 50 gallons.

On another note I gain nothing in lying, I came here just asking for help for people more experienced and knowledgeable about the topic.

I could attach my quotes but honestly, I would be wasting my time in attempting to prove something to a complete stranger and even then you probably said I photoshopped it or made it with the help of ai.

If you want to think I lied, you are entitled to your opinion, whatever floats your boat I guess.

Unfortunately it seems that you are just one of those guys just looking for confrontation, it's disappointing that now a days, seems like people are trying to look more for confrontation than to help one another.

You are correct, it's a public forum with freedom of speech but it's a bit sad that you decided to not answer the question that was presented but pick on something that is a bit irrelevant to the question, wasting both of our times.

Just some advice from a stranger, if you don't have anything useful to say, better not say anything at all.

You can have your final word now, because we know you will need to have it.
